Soccer Still Going Strong

The weather today was perfect for a fall soccer game. It was bright, sunny and had just a hint of cool in the air. The boys had their second to last game of the season at noon. Their big soccer extravaganza will be on the last Saturday of October, so we get a break next Saturday, though I bet we still have practice on Friday.

Baseball wrapped up this past Thursday (it was too dark to get any good pictures), so our busy schedule of sports is starting to wrap up and I don't mind one bit. It's been fun, but it's time to start focusing on school, helping around the house and Trey will start Cub Scouts next week. I'm sure it will still feel busy.
Matt started out playing defender and had a good attitude about it, since he was warned going in that if he got mad at his coach he would lose 5 Star Wars action figures FOREVER. The threat worked and he was very happy all game. He just is up and down on his attitude toward sports. Half the time he hates it, the other half he loves it. I hope someday we can find something he loves 100%.
Josh and Trey started out playing forward and Josh scored very quickly making it 1-0 for the Generals. Good job Josh!Matt played some tough defense and kicked the ball away from our goal. Trey showing some fancy foot work. He had 2 goals last week.Kaitlyn loves to snuggle on her Daddy's lap. Josh was go, go, go!Brynn loved the game, especially when she kept running onto the field. After the third time getting into the action, she lost the privilege of being down and had to be held until 4 year old twins girls sitting next to us entertained her until the game ended. That was just fine by me!Josh playing goalie. Trey keeps the blue team from scoring.Josh moves the ball down the field.
Trey in action. All 3 Jacksons in together. I loved every second watching them play next to each other.

Generals 4- Blue Team 0. Way to go guys!
