I awoke to some shocking news on USAToday this morning. The top story was about Harry Potter. What new information could you find about a story that is finished?
J.K. Rowling announced that Professor Dumbledore is gay. WHAT? For a devout Harry fan, this one did not please me at all, no, not one bit.
Hope the kids don't find out.

I got your email about what she said. I'm completely disgusted as well, and I choose not to listen to a word of it. As far as I'm concerned Dumbledore is the same man I know and love. I've never once thought about his love life, nor do I need to now. The whole Harry Potter series is tucked away in a special place in my heart.

I read about it this weekend and it made me so sad. I don't understand why she felt the need to add that tidbit after the fact. I don't think the books would have done as well if she shared that before, convenient for her. oh well...
