Happy Birthday Cheryl!

I am taking the liberty of entering my first post on Cheryl's blog to wish Cheryl a very happy 31st birthday. Cheryl has told me many times in the last few weeks that she is proud to be turning 31 years old, and has no misgivings about adding another digit to her age. Of course, if you know Cheryl you know she has more energy than any 13 year old and she shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful wife. She is such a great blessing in my life and does so much for all of our children.

Cheryl's birth date has some added significance for me. It was on Cheryl's birthday, February 20 that I injured my left knee (Anterior Cruciate Ligament tear) during my junior year of college, just a few months before I met Cheryl. While this injury was a very discouraging event at the time, it set in motion the events that allowed me to meet Cheryl. I like to say that I traded my knee ligament for my wife and it is clearly the best trade I have ever made.

Happy Birthday Cheryl!!!

Love,

Rich

Happy Birthday Cheryl!!!! I hope you have one fantastic day of doing nothing but pampering yourself(what are the chances)!

Rich way to come into the blogging world with a bang. You are a natural. I think you made a pretty good trade too. Who needs ligaments when you have a great wife who shaves her legs everyday. I know Cheryl does many amazing things but for some reason this impresses me the most:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYL!!! Birthday's are never the same as a mom (you still have/get to do the "mom" stuff), but just so you know that I am thinking of you and you are a BABY--only 31!

I hope that you have a great day!! Love, Vicki

Happy Birthday!!! I am glad that Rich wrote about you on your Birthday so that we all know it is your birthday! I knew your Birthday was in Feb, but couldn't remember the day! You are always so good at remembering everyone on their special day, I still do not know how you do it all.

What a shocking surprise to see a post on my blog that I had nothing to do with! What nice birthday treat. Thank you Rich for your kind words. I would have given my left knee to meet you and my right one too if needed.

You are the joy of my life, my best friend and I couldn't imagine a better person to go through this journey of life with by my side. Love you sweetie! Now and forever...

And thanks to all the blog well wishers, phone calls and letters in the mail from my amazing family and friends. I love you all!

Happy Birthday Cheryl. That is the sweetest thing ever from your hubby! I think you were a great trade!! He's right, he is so blessed to have you for his wife, and man I wish i had your energy!! You two are blessed to have each other! I hope you have a wonderful day, and know that you have so many people that just love you and I am one of them. If I was there I would watch your kids so you could go out or just read a book in peace. Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday!! You really are a spring chicken though you know. Wow, I'm impressed by the 5 kids by age 30 thing. Hope you had a great day. Milk it for all it's worth. That was very sweet of Rich too!

Happy Happy Birthday Cheryl Dear!

So great of Rich to post all on his own. That is two husbands in one week (Kara's). It is great!

I really hope you got to celebrate and do something just for yourself.

Like Sally said, wishing I could have taken you out for lunch (or at least late night ice cream after the kids were in bed).

Hope all of your birthday wishes came true!

Happy Birthday Cheryl! I'm late in sending along birthday wishes, but I wanted you to know we were thinking about you today. We even blew up "Happy Birthday" balloons and tossed them around the house with the kids in your honor. We'll use any excuse to have a party--even when the birthday girl lives in a different state! We love you!!!

Cheryl, Happy Birthday! I hope you are feeling better and had a wonderful day. You have a way of making every other person in your wingspan feel special on their birthday, so I hope the favor was returned to you. And Rich, good move man. I must have Todd read this to prove to him that his writing on our blog is not "queer" - his word, not mine. You are a pair of our favorite people!

Way to go Rich. You know your wife and a blog entry is probably all you needed to give her. I heard that there was great cake to be had that night at the church in honor of Cheryl and that Matt's was the best. I miss you all.
