I felt bad seeing the poor thing thing dead in the trap yesterday morning as we headed out for church. But not that bad. It seems that I just needed to blog about it, and the problem was solved. I hope the other little mice around learned their lesson and just STAY OUT!

Congratulations on the mouse kill. I totally understand that it is a little sad to see something dead but, mice are yucky even though they are a little cute. I hope his friends stay away!
You are a killer just like Todd. He still swears that God "delivered" that squirrel to him from the hole in our garage ceiling so he could kill it. One day I'll get him liquored up and he'll spill the truth.
I am glad that your mouse is gone, though....
Now you need to come to our house. We also have a little garage mouse... Jeff and I are arguing over who has to take care of it..we are both stubborn so it might be a while..
Our first apartment in Kentucky we had a mouse in the kitchen once and I FREAKED out... I cloroxed the whole place and kept everything it tupperware or glass (cereal, pasta crackers you name it).. it's just gross to think about.
YAY!!! I have no sympathy anymore for mice. I'm so glad you got rid of it, and relatively quickly since your post!
Congrats! A job well done!
It's so much better when they are dead already. We caught one in the unfinished basement once and it was still trying to get away. I made JIm take him out in the middle of the street to put it out of it's misery. It seriously let out a little cry as he hit it over the head with a shovel...so sad...yet such a relief to have it gone (I taped up the crack under the door the night before we caught it so he couldn't get upstairs, then was terrified as I listened to him chew at the tape....Luckily he didn't make it through before we exterminated him)
Way to take action. I probably would have just left it, or let Clark handle it.
