Two Saturdays ago the boys had their huge soccer extravaganza that wrapped up a great fall soccer season. (It was the same day as Trunk-0r-Treat so it was a crazy busy day.) The Generals ended up winning every game except the one that was a tie. They all played hard and I was pleased with the progress they made. It was very enjoyable to have all three on the same team and watch them play together. It was freezing cold, so the team ran around to keep warm until the match was ready to begin.Matt shows of his soccer tattoo.Trey was the starting goalie.Josh is ready for action!
Trey had a great throw in to Josh. All three Jacksons in together. The girls found their own way to entertain themselves.Josh scored TWICE!
Trey ran the ball down the entire field.
Only to be stopped at the last second. Good try!
After the game the coach handed out treats, trophies and awards. Matt got the Smart Player award. He is always thinking!
Josh got the All Around Soccer Star. He really improved and scored the most goals on the team.Trey got the Great Goalie award even thought the coach said she could have given him the long legs award because he can run so fast with his long limbs!
We celebrated after with lunch at the beans place- Qdoba that is.
And ended with ice cream cones from McDonald's.
A perfect day together!

how fun! I can't wait until Mac gets to play organized sports!
what great action shots of them playing soccer! I think it's very fun that all 3 boys played on the same team together. They will always remember that. Another soccer season over -- can we believe it's already the middle of November!???!!!
I also think it is so great they all got to play on the same team.
I miss Qdoba (I personally think it is way better than Cafe Rio).
That is so great you were able to get such great shots of them at soccer. How special that they were all on the same team. (easy for the mom) Your posts always make me tired. You are such a good mom and so hands on. They are blessed children.
You are so great at documenting your boys sporting events! I love that they are all on the same team. What great memories they will have of playing together. I too miss Qdoba (although seriously Marcie, it DOES NOT compare to Cafe Rio)and am excited that one is opening down the road from me in a month!
Yes Sally, I agree. Qdoba does NOT compare, but it will have to do until we moved back west. Do you not have Cafe Rio in Idaho? Poor thing if you don't. I'd be making lots of trips south in search of a good salad if I were in driving distance!
