Boyd Orchard

What to do on a pefect sunny, warm, beautiful fall day? Visit a quaint little orchard that has slides, swings, toys, a petting zoo and pumpkin patch of course! Boyd Orchard is just outside of Fayette County in Versailles, Kentucky. There was so much for the kids to see and do! We went on Monday night with Tiffany and Savannah Rosenhan while both of our husbands were on call at the hosptial. It was the perfect Family Home Evening activity, especially with Halloween only 2 days away! Apples for Sale! There was a great little country store, but we played so long that they were closing shop when we left. We'll have to come again next year and sample their pumpkin doughnuts and hot apple cider.
The girls liked the animals, but would not get any closer than this. They called all of them 'dog'. The slide was amazing. Kaitlyn was impressed with the slide too. The boys in the pumpkin patch. We visited the place late in the season, so it actually was more like a large empty field with scattered pumpkins, but it was still fun and great for picture taking.Kaitlyn tried her hand at pumpkin bowling. Brynn found one that is just her size.
