This past Saturday was the big soccer extravaganza where teams from different YMCA leagues play against each other. It is the last game of the spring soccer season. Matt had a remarkable season. He was named the 'gifted goalie' and was one of the leading scorers on the team. He had a GREAT ATTITUDE throughout every game and we are so proud of the progress he made with staying positive and getting better and better as a player. We can't wait for the fall season to start. It's the rare magical time where all the boys can be on the same team. It can't get better than that!

What a cutie and he must be very brave. There is so much pressure on the goalie....that position scares me to death.
We missed soccer sign ups this year (they wouldn't budge the day after the deadline). I was secretly happy.....but don't tell Jim or the boys who were devastated.
