Our neighborhood pool opened on Saturday. Swim team starts on Tuesday night. Our life at the pool has returned. Pull out the wrinkled swimsuits, dust off the goggles, lather on the sunscreen, gather the pool toys and get out the cold drinks. We are in it for the long haul.... and what fun it will be.

I've been wondering when swim team starts. I know it is SO time consuming for you and the kids, but I am jealous of the opportunity. I think it is so great for the kids and to have it be a neighborhood thing is wonderful.
p.s. Thanks for the consoling words about Alice's hair. I just placed a $50 order to Gap that was all headbands. It really is the only thing that I can do. Now if she'll just get used to wearing them and keep them on.
I'm hoping we traumatized her enough that she'll never do it again, but I'm not sure.....
