A Dozen

A dozen eggs.
A dozen roses.
A dozen years spent married to an incredible man.
The best dozen I can imagine.April 26th marked twelve wondrous, adventure filled years of wedded bliss to my best friend and sweetheart. Twelve years of ups and downs and so many in-betweens, but a life where the good times were far more plentiful than the hard moments.

But through thick and thin, who better to weather the storm of life with than someone you trust implicitly, respect, look up to, lean on and who knows you best.

Pretty impossible to top that.

12 years

A 9 month engagement

A 596 mile drive to Stanford

A 2 day first honeymoon

A 596 mile drive back to Provo

1 trip to Hawaii

1 trip to the Final Four

1 week in Boston

1 medical doctor degree

1 set of tonsils removed

2 college diplomas

2 cruises

2 sets of twins

2 broken arms

3 wedding rings (Rich's on his second band)

3 trips to Disneyland

4 homes

4 months bedrest over 3 pregnancies

5 wards

5 trips to the ER

5 1/2 kids

6 cars

6 sets of toenails I still clip weekly

7 LDS missions we have lived away for (Rich's parents, Brad, Danny, Jeff, Taylor, Kurt and soon Rhett)

7 fun filled days in Mexico with the boys

8 1/2 years in Kentucky

8 passenger van needed

9 1/2 years being parents

10 years of total medical training

1460 miles between us and where we were married

And 2 people still in love.

Eager to see what numbers lie ahead in the years to come.

Happy Anniversary Rich.

I LOVE YOU!

Cheryl you should have said something at lunch! Big plans this weekend? KFC? Nothing like taking the family out for a free meal to celebrate your big day:)

You guys really are such a great couple!
