Spring Fling

The boys had Spring Fling parties in their classrooms today. Spring break is next week, so it was perfect timing. Each one had a different theme. Trey's class had a luau, Matt had a garden party and Josh visited Oz. They all had a great time. Matt shows off his new visor, pot he decorated and the flower he planted.We sent in these flowers and he was excited to bring one home. I love seeing their color on our window seal.Josh took a trip to Oz. I had to laugh when I asked him about this Wizard of Oz party. He told me it wasn't about the Wizard of Oz. It was about "a green city and some yellow road." Obviously we do not own the movie and he has never seen the show. He made a lion mask and a water trick that had yellow glitter that looked like a tornado when spun.

Trey had a Hawaiian feast, a limbo and hula hoop contest and brought home a flower lei and goody bag. He never sat still enough to get a photo, but had a good time as well.
