There's something about....

The wind blowing through your hair.

The morning sun warm on your face.

The crinkle around the eyes when someone gives you a true smile.

The innocent smile of a child.

The pure love of siblings and parents.

An embrace from your spouse.

A thank you note from a friend.

Red, orange and brown fall leaves slowly drifting to the ground.

Humming a simple melody.

A mother's soothing caress.

A father reading the scriptures to his sons.

The scent of the world after it rains.

Laughter between friends.

A baby's soft cry.

A big brother holding her sister's hand while walking down the stairs.

Kindness between strangers.

The sparkle in a child's eyes when given praise.

Emails from a brother serving a mission in Taiwan.

A little brother helping his big brother make brownies for Cub Scouts.

Long talks with your mom about life.

Surprise calls from your dad while he has a break at the hospital or office.

Love notes from your sweetie found in a drawer while looking for lost glasses.

Baby girls searching their bags and toy chest for mom's missing keys.

People seeing the good in others.

A little girl happily chasing the neighbors cat.

Children sharing their toys with others.

Baby birds snug in their nest.

A friendly chat with an old friend.

Doctors working to aid injured patients.

A phone call reminding you to sign your kids up for basketball.

Coaches encouraging and helping their players to do their best and above all else have FUN!

A school collecting cans for a food drive.

A teacher loving their students.

People picking up liter.

Generous donations to victims of natural disasters.

Handmade birthday cards and presents.

Service and charity towards others.

Getting a spiritual uplift and recharge from listening to talks from the prophet, apostles and church leaders in General Conference.

That make me want to shout, "LIFE IS GOOD!"

I have seen or experienced all these things in the past few days. It wakes me up and makes me see how Christlike people can be. It reminds me how lovely our world is. This is the way Heavenly Father want us to be; joyful, happy, peaceful and loving. It's is a privilege to be here on this earth. We are blessed. We can choose to be happy even in dark times. We can be the light for the rest to see. We can find goodness everywhere. It is there. You just have to open your eyes and see it. Look. Find some for yourself today. You'll never, ever regret you did.
