No sir, don't even begin to think that the party stopped after Big Brown got his roses. Though I do have to add this great picture and quote I swiped from Tiffany's blog. Here's the Madsen/Jackson boy gang watching the Derby at their home.
"As we were picking our horses Matt wanted the horse with green silks so we told him #5. But when he discovered #5 was a girl, he put his head down and moped out of the room. We convinced him there was another horse with green silks and there was. But after the race he said, "Number 5, the green horse was a girl, right? But her jockey was a boy, right? I'm OK with that. I'm OK that she's a girl if her rider was a boy." Too funny." - Tiffany Madsen
After the race, we went back to Josh and Tiffany's. As we pulled up Todd and Kristi and our girls arrived behind us and Tyler and Cynthia were already inside. The girls LOVED the play set.BrynnKaitlyn

KateMatt, Keenan and Trey played some football with big and little Josh.Could she have been happier? Nope.Josh was the king of the grill, while his littlest helper McKay sampled the fare.Tiffany's black bean dip and Key Lime and Derby Pies were to die for!Cynthia, Kim and MarcieKristi, Kate and TiffanyThe boys LOVED their cool push pops.At nearly 9 PM the Hamilton's called it a night.Brynn cried when Kristi left. Seriously, what a sad face!
Poor Josh and Tiff had to nearly push us out the door at 11 PM! It was SO much fun to sit and visit with them and the Alcorns. It was like old times, except we had many more wild kids running around our feet. Rich and I even took a quick last peek at the basement, since it's the first place we slept in Kentucky when we came to to look for a home nearly eight years ago. It's hard to see their time come to an end, but I know we have many more years of good times ahead!
Thanks to all for one very, very memorable day. What amazing friends we have been blessed with!!!
