After seeing photos of the
Louisville Balloon Glow I knew it was a 'must do' this year. The date was marked, April 25. I started talking to the
Mortensons who were up for it. Soon we had the
Underwoods and a BBQ set up. Throw in meeting the
Madsens at the fair grounds and were were all set. Pegasus Pins- check (Thanks M!). $5.00 for parking- check. Jackets, gear, camera, food, gas, etc- check. But as the night wore on: Wind- Check. Oh no! Cancellation- CHECK!

Oh well, the truth is we had such a great time eating and hanging out together none of us felt too bad the whole balloon bit was a no go.

They have another glow in the fall. I've got all my fingers and toes crossed that it will be a calm and clear night. Thanks Jeff and Melissa for a very fun evening!!
