Provo Beach Resort

We saw a sign for the new Provo Beach Resort as we drove by Riverwoods.  I asked Rich what in the world that could be.  Then Rich's Mom told us about the new fun place the Roney family who lives in their neighborhood had opened.  We knew we had to check it out.  We met my parents in between Saturday conference sessions.  I couldn't believe the whole place fit inside the old Copeland Sporting Good store.  I used to frequent that place when we lived in Provo.  Trey thought it was like Chuck-E-Cheese's on steroids.  I kind of had a flash back to Kid Vegas (aka Pigeon Forge, TN).  They have a cool wave machine that lets you test out your surfing skills.  They have a miniature croquet course, cool new games, a Pinewood Derby track, a small bowling alley, a toddler climbing area and a ropes course.  The prices were a bit steep, but our main factor was time.  Trey oohed and ahhed at the amazing ropes course overhead.  He and Matt signed up and Kurt and his girlfriend Pearl soon joined them.  Josh is NOT a lover of heights, so he tested his skills on some sport games and made us swear to come back so we could play croquet.  We had a lot of fun squished into two short hours.  I am sure we'll return again, at least to make good on our promise to Josh.

Holy smokes, talk about a marathon of posting. You guys were busy!!!! Looks like you had an amazing time. no wonder you want to go back and live in Utah.
Did you have any time to look at houses? Have you nailed down where you are going to live? Can't wait to hear more about it all.

I so want to check out this place when we get back to Utah.
My dad has one of the Rooney girls in his ward and he said the wave pool is so cool. He said that his ward had a party at their place and were there for hours.
I am sure two hours was not enough time. Tell Josh, Brad and I will go with him when we get back.
Glad you got to spend time with everyone.
Fun to see pictures of Kurt and Pearl too, she is a cute one.
