Darley at Jonabell Farm

When Greg and Kate returned to stay with us after their weekend adventures down south, it was my turn to show off Lexington. Our first stop was to Darley at Jonabell Farm, bright and early on Wednesday morning.

Darley
is HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's global breeding operation that which currently stands stallions in six countries around the world. He purchased Jonabell Farm in 2001.

This was my third trip to the farm, and second time on the tour. The farm is gorgeous. I like to compare the grounds to Disneyland. They are pristine, perfectly groomed and simply lovely.

Greg and Kate came away with a better understanding of Thoroughbred horses, their breeding, racing and life. They noted that the horses have quite the posh existence. I agree.
