Farewell

Summer has faded into fall, and I am already missing the warm days and long sunny nights. I LOVE fall, but I will miss the green grass, the soft glow of fireflies, the baby birds under my deck, the sweet smell of rain on hot asphalt, the hum of the lawn mower, lazy afternoons at the pool, the giggles and smiles as the kids play in the park, colorful blooms in my yard, the sweet berries and juicy tomatoes found on the side of the house, the sound of leaves blowing in the wind and warm fingers and toes while I type on the computer.

Goodbye summer. Thanks for the memories.
