Fairies

The girls' dance class today had everyone dressed up for Halloween. I knew the perfect costumes for dancing would be their fairy ones. Kaitlyn is a flower fairy and Brynn is Tinkerbell.

Frighteningly Fabulous

I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts, but usually reserve them for a special treat or bribery. The boys' swim team gives them out the morning after each swim meet when the swimmers come to pick up their ribbons. I usually bought a dozen after hauling all five kiddos to my doctors appointments all summer. I always got chocolate iced glazed doughnuts to reward their behavior. Knowing this, the next week the kids agreed to get back into the van and head yet again to the doctor because they knew something sweet would be the end result. It worked.

But today was all about Halloween. All the reason I needed to grab a little Happy Halloween treat, and really who can resist doughnuts that look that wickedly good!

Animal Creations

Josh and Matt put on a play at Pack Night last night using paper bag masks they created during cub scouts the week before. They designed them all by themselves. I was impressed with their creativity and unique styles. Matt is a crocodile. Josh is a bear.
