Awards Banquet and Trophy Ceremony
187 Pinnacle Swimmers, ages 5-18
The trophies and awards
The six and unders got bobble head trophies.
The rest of the swimmers received trophies with a swimmer and timer on them
Ribbons and medals were given to swimmers that placed in conference.
Pinnacle took second place in conference behind the Copperfield Crocodiles.
Pinnacle Pirates were undefeated in the regular conference.
My boys did not swim conference because the finals were on Sunday.

This was the boys' fourth year on swim team. The swim season runs from the end of May until the middle of July. Pinnacle swimmers practice at our pool every morning, with Thursday being a free swim and the swimmers receive ribbons from the meet and enjoy eating Krispy Kreme doughnuts, milk and juice. My boys swam each morning for 45 minutes, but Trey was in the 9-10 age group which swam before Josh and Matt who were in the 7-8 age group. There is a meet every Wednesday night. Swimmers arrive at 4:45 PM and the meet ends at 9:30 PM. Half of our meets were at other pool around the city. Over the course of the season, each of the boys swam in a mixed relay during a meet. Trey and Josh swam freestyle, backstroke, butterfly and breaststroke. Matt swam freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke.

Rich was home from Cincinnati and was able to attend the banquet.
We will ALWAYS be Pirates at heart. Argh!!
