Lexington Philharmonic Patriotic Concert

The Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra held a free outdoor patriotic concert last night at Transylvania University. We headed downtown with the Carlson and Powell families, ate a picnic dinner and listened to beautiful music. When the kids got a bit rowdy the boys found a place to toss around a football while the girls tried to capture fireflies. It was a perfect night with friends and celebrating our nation's birthday.

I'm happy for your post. I was getting worried about you.....now I can see that you have been busy with family in town (not that five kids and being very close to your due date wouldn't be enough).

Hope you are having a very happy 4th of July at your house.

Those stables look amazing. We never visited any private stables, so incredible......and how in the world did you remember (or collect) all those details about each horse?
