After THREE rain out cancellations (one involving a sink hole), the girls FINALLY got to play their first soccer game ever! Their team, the Pink Sharks, did a great job. The first few minutes the all girl teams were a bit clueless and waited for each other to take turns kicking the ball and Kaitlyn even skipped over to give the ball a little nudge with her foot. When the other team scored, the light bulbs flipped on and they got it. They were aggressive and outscored the team 14-2. Kaitlyn had 3 or 4 goals and Brynn had at least 2. Another girl from our ward had about 6. They are quite the team. Brynn and Kaitlyn couldn't have smiled bigger after they scored. It was priceless. Can't wait for next weeks game and see if they can do even better. I have a feeling they will....

Alice was playing soccer a few weeks ago with the boys and they said "why didn't you sign Alice up for soccer this year?"
I hadn't even thought about it. She would have loved it, I'm sure. Somehow she got lost in the shuffle of boys sports this spring.
Your pink girls look so darling......and such great scorers! That is awesome1
