Park Day

The girls have been looking forward to their preschool Park Day for weeks.  Tomorrow is the last day of school, so this was a treat to get outside and have fun with their classes before they say goodbye.

The only problem was the classes were meeting at different parks that were about ten minutes apart.  It was really fun to explore and enjoy two very fun and different places, but hard since they were both held during their school hours 1:00- 3:30 pm.  We decided to spend the first hour with Kaitlyn's class and the last hour with Brynn's class.

We had been concerned about possible thunderstorms, but the light rain cleared up as we drove there and the sun made a glorious appearance while we were with Brynn's class.  Anderson Township has the most incredible parks.  It was a perfect afternoon and wonderful way to wrap up a successful school year.

Kaitlyn's class met at Beech Acres Park off of Salem Road.  Beech Acres is a huge complex.  The boys played basketball there all winter and Josh's baseball league held their opening ceremonies under the pavilion a few weeks ago.  The playground was incredible.  Maybe the coolest I've ever seen.  Huge, clean and lots and lots to do.  One little place totally reminded me of Toontown at Disneyland.  The girls and Zach had a ball.

Brynn's class met at Veterans Park off of Forest Road.  This was a beautiful secluded park that had a swing set, sand table, huge jungle gym and fun little fairy like cabins and plastic tree stumps.  She decorated a foam visor and enjoyed having her little crush, Jacob, chase her around.  What a girl!

Utah doesn't have one park that is even 1/8 as good as either of those.

We sure do have plenty of kids to use them........annoying.

Those look amazing! My kids would die.
