Josh had his first official Rookie League (coach pitch) game on Tuesday night. He is on the Indians and plays first base.
It was freezing cold, but we were dressed for the weather.
The girls loved being at the ball park and excited to watch Josh play.
Josh's head coach is on the far left. His name is Randy
Holleran and played football at UK. Rich calls him a cartoon character and man, he's a riot. He has been wonderful to Josh, has been great about him not playing or practicing on Sunday and is just a happy, funny guy.
I was nervous for Josh, but he was fantastic. He caught EVERY BALL that came his way. I was so proud. In fact, in the third inning he had an
unassisted double play when he caught a pop fly and then touched first base when the runner was headed to second. The next batter hit a line drive to him which he scooped up and touched first. He got all three outs that inning. Man, it always feels great when your kids do well!!
Welcome back baseball, you were missed!!!
