Celebrate the Arts

This past Wednesday night we attended Celebrate the Arts at the boys' school. Josh and Matt performed with the Lower Primary Chorus from 6:30- 7:00 PM. Many songs had a lot of southern flare (and ones I had never heard before) and the rest were patriotic. They did a great job. I only wished they hadn't been on opposite ends of the risers!

They practice every Monday morning from 7:30- 8:00 AM.JoshMattThey did a great job!Every student had at least one piece of art work displayed in the hallways.Matt's creationJosh's tribal mask Trey drew a portrait of Abraham Lincoln

We ended the night by watching the kids play outside on the playground. There were two other families from our ward there, so they had lots of friends to choose from.
Last fall during Red Ribbon Week, the PTA provided red tulip bulbs and had each child plant a flower to help them remember to say no to drugs! This is where Josh planted his tulip. This is where Trey planted his. There are hundreds on the front of the school grounds and they are beautiful to see. It was a very fun night for our entire family.

They run after soccer balls, dive into home base, block goals, sing, and draw almost professionally. These Jackson boys are pretty awesome. I love Matt's creation. Very artistic. Trey's Abe is seriously perfect. Talented boys!
