We were invited by the Hooper's to join them and three other families from our ward for a little picnic BBQ at a local park that was ten minutes from our home. We all brought our own meat and side dishes to share. We met the group at 6:00 PM at Woodland Mound Park. The park itself is huge and offers various options for visitors. We went to the camping site and had our little gathering at one of the pavilions. There was plenty to eat and do, but I was most impressed by the beauty of the park. It was the first time I noticed the leaves had a hint of fall in them and few yellow leaves amongst the green. It was beautiful. Fall certainly isn't far off.
