Jeff and Sarah wanted to explore a bit of Kentucky during their brief visit. On Sunday evening we drove down Tates Creek Road and crossed the Kentucky River on the Valley View Ferry. The Ferry was established back in 1785 and is the oldest continuous business on record in Kentucky.Jeff had me pull over and grabbed my camera so he could capture the beauty we discovered in Madison County. It was breathtaking, but the entire time I was just a tiny bit worried some angry property owner was going to come charging the car with a shotgun and tell us to get off their land! That might be a crazy stereotype that is way off base, but it was going through my mind as Jeff wandered around taking pictures.
