4th of July

We rolled into Utah on Sunday, July 3rd.  We were tired and worn out after our cross country trek.  I had hoped to go to the Freedom Festival parade the next morning, but a 9 am start made it difficult.  No one else thought that sounded like a good plan.  Instead we had a slow morning.  We went to Jackons in Provo and went swimming had a BBQ with Rich's family.  Then we drove back down to Salem that evening for birthday cake (Josh and Matt) and fireworks.  We truly loved being with family after years being away. I am so grateful to live in America and appreciate the freedoms that are ours.
