U of U vs. BYU Football Tailgate Party

Rich's new employer, Central Utah Clinic, threw a gigantic tailgate party for the University of Utah vs. BYU football game.  It was held in the north parking lot at the Provo Clinic.  They had food, games, blow up slides, drawings and a 16 foot screen to watch the showdown.  My parents and Kurt and Pearl were there.  So were the Hamilton's in their RED.  We were all sporting BLUE.  We visited with Rich's Uncle Bob and his family and enjoyed the beautiful weather.  Zach loved it when Grandma took him over to the game area and Grandpa helped him win the top prize!

Rich and the big boys grabbed a shuttle just before kick off and went to the game.  The girls and Zach and I stuck around for churros, collected lots of trinkets and prizes and the girls had lots and lots of slide runs.  After that we headed to University Mall for some 'girl time' as Brynn put it.  Sweet Zach didn't mind hanging with the women.

I think I got a better deal avoiding the game since BYU was terrible and it just kept getting more painful to watch as the clock ticked down.  Trey's favorite part of the night was texting Todd Hamilton after the game.  I have no idea what you could write after that kind of a beat down, but he had a ball cheering on his beloved Cougars while they played and on the phone afterwards.  Personally, I am glad I don't get too worked up over these things.  It's not like it's March Madness, right?!

Cheryl! Your back. It was fun to hear from you. You've been missed. Glad to hear that you are adjusting to things and feeling a little more at home.

I loved all of the pictures of your house. Its fun to see the details of your new space and looks like your all unpacked and settled in.

As always, I love that you are such a sports fan!

Looking forward to many more updates!
