Halloween Girl
Everyone who knows me well understands my deep love for Halloween. I know this by the random emails, cards and phone calls from friends that wish me well during 'the spookiest time of the year'. And I love that they remember.
This afternoon the FedEx truck stopped at our house bearing gifts from Arizona. Thank you Heather! I couldn't have picked a more perfect card or plaque if I tried because you are right, this Salem girl does need to accessorize and decorate as much as possible!

They have been the best times of my life by far
and the hardest times for sure.
Children teach you.
Humble you.
Mold you.
Make you love,
Cry,
Laugh,
Hope,
Pray,
and help you become who Heavenly Father wants you to be.
I am so blessed to have been sent such amazing little ones.
They bring out the best in me.
They have allowed me to grow and mature and forced me to learn patience.
They have shown me how to nurture, cuddle, play
and see the world again through young, inquisitive and innocent children's eyes.
They are work and sweat and tears and stress,
but the rewards are endless.

They are my priorities, my life, my love.
And in brief moments help me understand more fully how deeply God loves me
and all his precious children.

Leaves
Today I literally had to stop driving and pull out my little camera I keep in my bag so I could capture the stunning images surrounding me. The bright yellows, deep reds and glowing oranges that line the streets in my neighborhood truly took my breath away. I am deeply grateful for this beautiful world Heavenly Father created for us all. It never gets old seeing the changes each season brings.
