Parent Observation Day at Dance

For the first time since the girls started dance, they allowed parents in to watch the class for the whole hour. Usually we only get to see them dance for the last five minutes of class where they show us a sneak peek at what they have been working on.  I was thrilled to see the girls in action, especially since they love to dance around the house, shout out ballet words and speak French at home.  The only hitch was that no siblings were allowed.  Rich was a hero and went into to work early to get his work done and then drove the 1/2 hour drive back to watch Zach.  We did a hand off in the dance studio's parking lot and I enjoyed the next hour watching the girls twirl and tap.  They did ballet, danced like ice skaters, practiced walking on their toes and perfecting their balance and did a great job tapping those tap shoes as loud and as hard as they could.  They will have one more parent observation day in the spring and a recital in May.  I am already excited for both.
